King size bed dressed in the finest white linens.

THE MASTER EN-SUITE

“We loved our stay in Casa Feliz and made sure we were home early enough from our outings to sit on the terraces and enjoy the scenery.

Excellent location for all major sites such as Cordoba, Granada and we managed to visit Marbella in a day easily. Giulia was very helpful from the booking process and all throughout our stay especially with directions and tips on places to visit and we were greeted with a generous welcome basket filled with goodies. The villa felt like 'home' and not just a holiday rental accommodation. It has everything one needs for a comfortable stay. I had my 82-year-old mum with me and she found it easy to move around.

I enjoyed spending more time at the villa than all day sightseeing and would love to go back again for a restful and relaxing holiday. If you are looking for a luxury holiday to relax in the sun, by the pool, as well as sightseeing, I strongly recommend Casa Feliz... although I would prefer to keep it a secret!”

Andalucia is a dreamy, sun-kissed land where passion, fabulous festivals and foot-stomping flamenco symbolize this emblematic region. The romance of a past of Moorish castles and old Jewish quarters remains. Swirling Arabesque patterns are visible in the Islamic architecture and the notes of the Gypsy soul are audible in the strumming of Spanish guitars. Andalucia is a place of contrasts: Cobblestone streets and courtyards filled with fragrant orange trees; snow capped mountains and lush green river valleys and gorges.

Casa Feliz offers a perfect setting for family reunions or that much needed time with friends. The property oozes a simple and relaxed style and is the perfect base for exploring the wonderful and varied region of Andalucia.

It is the best of all worlds; you are nestled in a secluded valley amidst the Malaga Mountains and its plentiful olive groves, just over an hour from the Moorish historical cities of Granada & Cordoba, under two hours from sensational Sevilla and just fifty minutes from beautiful Malaga and the airport, as well as being just a short drive from the beaches, glitz and glam of the Costa del Sol.

The owners of Casa Feliz and their staff are dedicated to creating a truly memorable, relaxing and special experience for their guests

Arabic Baths

The Moors left their legacy of "Hammams" or Moorish Baths all over Andalucia.  A visit to this area would not be complete without experiencing the relaxing sound of water and music and the vision of captivating mosaics and decor. Soak up an enticing treat for the body and mind.

Antequera and El Torcal

The beautiful town of Antequera, with its Moorish castle and fortress, is located 35 mins. from Iznajar. Its pre historic Dolmen site was declared a UNESCO World Heritage in 2016.
The moon-like rock formation of El Torcal lies behind Antequera and is accessible along three different walking routes.
Iznájar

Our beautiful white washed village of Iznájar sits proudly above the turquoise waters of the lake, that bears the same name. It sits within an hour of Malaga and Granada (both to which it is possible to fly into with budget flights), and just over an hour from Cordoba. The village flourished in the eighth century when Arab settlers built a Castle and called it "Hins Ashar"  Happy Castle. Guided tours of the Castle and Old Town are available most days and can be organised at the local Tourist Office.

Stroll around the village and stop for coffee or a "tapa" in one of the many traditional bars and restaurants.

At the feet of the village is a sandy beach on the shore of the lake Iznajar, where you can swim, rent pedalos and umbrellas in the summer months and eat at the bar/restaurants. The beach area, locally known as Valdearenas, is very popular with walkers and sunbathers.

Iznajar serves as the natural entrance to the Sierra Subbetica, a stunning rugged park located in the heart of Andalucia and home to over seventy bird species, among which Spain's largest breeding colony of griffon vultures.
